Hello World!

Welcome to the first blog post for the Water Science & Engineering Club at Ventura College!
We are students at Ventura College that study Water and Wastewater Treatment practices and help prepare other students to graduate with an Associates in either Water/Wastewater Science, or obtain their  Operator Certification by the (California) State Water Resource Control Board. We also share info about upcoming community events, study groups, webinars, networking events, and an online jobs board for students to look for and apply to local water jobs.

One of our teachers, Joanna Capazzi, initiated a class topic called “Water in the News” and we are taking it one step further by creating a blog to act as an online archive of these articles that are discussed in class and pertaining to our studies.

This portion of the blog will be posting local, regional and global water in the news and developing technologies in the Water/Wastewater Treatment industry. If you are a student, and interested in helping with this water blog, send an e-mail to waterscienceblog111@gmail.com
Happy Surfing!
